Things to know before booking your appointment
-Appointment times can currently be made by e-mailing info@coastalbreezementalhealth.com or by calling 831-291-3540. We have availability for new patients as early as this week.
-We accept insurance. We currently accept Cigna/Evernorth, UHC/Optum, Aetna, TRICARE, Humana, FHN, Magellan, and Medicare and plan to add more panels in the upcoming months. You can also call if you have a PPO to discuss your share of cost for a visit.
-You will be provided with a superbill after the appointment if you have out-of-network coverage and want to submit for reimbursement through your insurance or for FSA/HSA reimbursement.
-After making the appointment you will receive intake paperwork through our EHR AdvancedMD. Paperwork must be completed prior to the visit or the visit will be canceled.
-Cancellations made less than 24 hours will incur a late-cancellation fee of 50% of the out-of-pocket cost for the visit.
-No-shows will incur the full fee of an out-of-pocket cost appointment as insurance does not cover a no-show appointment.
-Making an appointment does not guarantee you will be prescribed medication, this will be left up to the provider's discretion.
-If you are currently on benzodiazepines the expectation is that we will work together to gradually taper off of these medications as they can cause more harm than good if taken long term.
